Kolkata Overpass Collapses

At least 17 have been killed when an overpass collapsed near Kolkata (which was formerly called Calcutta), India on March 31, 2016. Over 100 people are injured and over 100 are missing.

One of the meanings of Kolkata is "field of the goddess Kālī."

Kālī, is the Hindu goddess associated with empowerment, or shakti. She is the mighty aspect of the goddess Durga. The name of Kali means black one and force of time, she is therefore called the Goddess of Time, Change, Power, Creation, Preservation, and Destruction. Her earliest appearance is that of a destroyer principally of evil forces. Source.

Kali is associated with a tradition of carrying heads. Why?

There are several traditions of how Kali came into existence. One version relates when the warrior goddess Durga, who had ten arms each carrying a weapon and who rode a lion or tiger in battle, fought with Mahishasura (or Mahisa), the buffalo demon. Durga became so enraged that her anger burst from her forehead in the form of Kali. Once born, the black goddess went wild and ate all the demons she came across, stringing their heads on a chain which she wore around her neck. It seemed impossible to calm Kali’s bloody attacks, which now extended to any wrongdoers, and both people and gods were at a loss what to do. Fortunately, the mighty Shiva stopped Kali’s destructive rampage by lying down in her path, and when the goddess realised just who she was standing on, she finally calmed down. From this story is explained Kali’s association with battlegrounds and areas where cremation is carried out. Source.

Tridents and heads. Kali's most common four armed iconographic image shows each hand carrying variously a sword, a trishul (trident), a severed head, and a bowl or skull-cup (kapala) catching the blood of the severed head.

Larry Russell Dawson, Antioch and Capitol Violence

On Monday, March 28, 2016, at about 2:39 p.m. ET, an armed man was fired upon by U.S. Capitol Police when he arrived at the Capitol Visitor Center carrying a weapon, which reportedly discharged, wounding one female bystander. That female civilian was injured by shrapnel. No U.S. Capitol Police officers were injured, despite early reports they were.
There was reportedly some confusion as the day began with a scheduled lockdown drill. "THIS IS A DRILL," an early morning memo notified Capitol staffers. "EXERCISE EXERCISE."
The suspect has been identified as Larry Russell Dawson from Antioch, Tennessee, according to multiple media reports.

The incident caused the Capitol and the White House to be shutdown or placed under a shelter-in-place order for a short amount of time. The Capitol lockdown was lifted. The incident occurred during the peak of the Cherry Blossom Festival, as the March spring break vacation brought thousands of tourists to D.C.

Larry Russell Dawson (pictured), who views himself as a pastor, was known to the Capitol Police.
ABC News and NBC News report police have identified Larry Dawson of Antioch, Tennessee as the gunman who allegedly drew a [pellet] gun at the visitors center on Monday. U.S. Capitol Police would not confirm or deny it was Dawson, 66, at a press conference but said he was previously known to them. In October, Dawson was caught yelling he was a "Prophet of God" from the balcony of the House of Representatives.
On October 22, 2015, Dawson was arrested on charges of assault on a police officer and unlawful conduct at the Capitol, according to a police report obtained exclusively by The Daily Beast. Dawson also allegedly resisted arrest and ran from police, according to the report.
(According to MSNBC, Larry Russell Dawson died at the hospital on Monday evening. This appears to be a false report.)

Who is the suspect?
LARRY RUSSELL DAWSON is a Funeral Director and Embalmer licensed to practice in Tennessee. The address on file for LARRY RUSSELL DAWSON is ANTIOCH, TN 37013-3932. This licensed professional license is not current. The license was granted 04/17/1972 and expired on 06/30/2004. Source.
The name Dawson originates with the nickname of Dave, Daw. Dawson means David's son.

Dawson is not a name we hear too often, regarding violence. It will be recalled, nevertheless, that on September 13, 2006, a college shooting occurred when 25-year-old Kimveer Gill stormed Montreal's Dawson College's cafeteria, and sprayed students with bullets, killing 18-year-old Anastassia De Sousa and wounding 11 others, before turning the gun on himself.

Capitol Violence:

January 30, 1835: There was an attempted assassination of Andrew Jackson at the Capitol. President Andrew Jackson survived an assassination attempt after leaving a funeral at the Capitol. The gunman's weapon misfired, sparing the president who then confronted the perpetrator, clubbing him with a walking cane. The attacker told his interrogators that he was a deposed English King—specifically, Richard III, dead since 1485—and that Jackson was his clerk. He was deemed insane. The assassin, an unemployed house painter named Richard Lawrence from England, was confined to a mental institution.

March 1, 1954: Four Puerto Rican nationalists (Lolita Lebrón, Rafael Cancel Miranda, Andres Figueroa Cordero, and Irving Flores Rodríguez) fired 30 rounds from a balcony over looking the House chambers, as an immigration bill was being debated, injuring five congressman. The four assailants were imprisoned. One was released in 1978 and the remaining three in 1979. The lawmakers all recovered.

March 1, 1971: The Weather Underground exploded a bomb in the United States Capitol, in a Senate bathroom—no one was injured. The Weather Underground issued a communiqué saying that the bombing was "in protest of the U.S. invasion of Laos". No one was arrested directly related to this bombing.

July 24, 1998: Russell Eugene Weston, Jr. (a paranoid schizophrenia) killed Detective John Gibson and Officer Jacob Chestnut of the Capitol police, when Weston stormed the Capitol building. Weston was originally from Valmeyer, Illinois, and then moved to Rimini, Montana, after his high school graduation. Weston had once thought that a Rimini neighbor was using his television satellite dish to spy on his actions and believed Navy SEALs were hiding in his cornfield. Weston, who did not stand trial, was sent to a psychiatric unit at a federal prison in North Carolina.

October 3, 2013: Miriam Carey, 34, a Stamford, Connecticut dental hygienist who had been treated for postpartum depression, attempted at 2:13 p.m. to drive through a White House security checkpoint in her black Infiniti G37 coupe, striking a Secret Service agent in the process, and leading police on a chase to the Capitol, where she was fatally shot. Her 13-month-old daughter was discovered unharmed in the back seat of the vehicle after it had been stopped. Federal officials said she may have suffered from schizophrenia and bipolar disorder and believed President Barack Obama was communicating with her.

April 11, 2015: Leo Thornton, 22, from Lincolnwood, Illinois, died by suicide when he killed himself on the Capitol grounds, with a single shot, causing the Capitol to go under lockdown. He was protesting taxation. Thornton’s parents said he had Asperger's syndrome. The suicide came during Washington's annual Cherry Blossom Festival.

We have heard the name Antioch before.

Antioch, Tennessee is the site of a predicted theater incident that occurred on August 5, 2015, exactly two weeks after a shooting at a showing of Trainwreck in Lafayette, Louisiana

[Please recall that the Lafayette shooter shares the same middle name as the D.C. suspect. The Capitol gunmen is allegedly Larry Russell Dawson. Lafayette's was John Russell Houser.  Origin of the name Russell is from the transferred use of the surname derived from the Old French roussell (red-haired), from rous (red). The name, which arose as a nickname for someone with red hair, or even "little red one," was brought to England by the Normans.]

The Antioch hatchet attack and air pistol shooting resulted in the death of the attacker, Vincente David Montano, and the injury of three patrons of the theater.

The 2015 event took place at the Carmike Hickory 8 Cinema in Antioch, Tennessee, around 1:15 p.m. The gunman at the Hickory Hollow Cinema, Montano (above) was allegedly armed with a hatchet, pepper spray, an Airsoft gun, and a fake bomb. He reportedly was wearing a surgical mask. He was shot dead by a SWAT team as he exited through the theater's rear door.  The Carmike Hickory 8 Cinema and Hickory Hollow Cinema are references to Andrew "Old Hickory" Jackson. See more here

The movie playing at the Carmike Hickory 8 Cinema was Mad Max: Fury RoadThe Dark Knight Rises' Bane (Tom Hardy) plays Mad Max's Max Rockatansky (Tom Hardy).

=====

Antioch is a community in southeast Nashville, Tennessee.

The community takes its name from Antioch, Turkey, an ancient city in Anatolia. As recently as the 1960s Antioch was a small community catering to the needs of area farmers with amenities such as a feed mill. Adjacent to Bakertown (a similar small community) it was located on the banks of Mill Creek, a minor tributary of the Cumberland River that rises near Nolensville, several miles to the southeast. This area has become less important over time as zoning restrictions forbidding further development on a floodplain have limited the construction of more businesses in this area, which had started to become congested.

Antioch on the Orontes was an ancient Greek city on the eastern side of the Orontes River. Its ruins lie near the modern city of Antakya, Turkey, and lends the modern city its name.

Founded near the end of the 4th century BC by Seleucus I Nicator, one of Alexander the Great's generals, Antioch's geographic, military and economic location, particularly the spice trade, the Silk Road, the Persian Royal Road, benefited its occupants, and eventually it rivaled Alexandria as the chief city of the Near East and as the main center of Hellenistic Judaism at the end of the Second Temple period. This and more historical notes can be found via the summary on Wikipedia.

Especially noteworthy is that Seleucus founded Antioch on a site chosen through ritual means. An eagle, the bird of Zeus, had been given a piece of sacrificial meat and the city was founded on the site to which the eagle carried the offering. Seleucus did this on the 22nd day of the month of Artemisios in the twelfth year of his reign (equivalent to May 300 BC). Antioch soon rose above Seleucia Pieria to become the Syrian capital.

Agrippa and Tiberius enlarged the theatre, and Trajan finished their work. Antoninus Pius paved the great east to west artery with granite. A circus, other colonnades and great numbers of baths were built, and new aqueducts to supply them bore the names of Caesars, the finest being the work of Hadrian. The Roman client, King Herod (most likely the great builder Herod the Great), erected a long stoa on the east, and Agrippa (c.63 BC – 12 BC) encouraged the growth of a new suburb south of this.

The Greek hippodrome was the basic model for both the Roman stadium and the Roman circus. It will be recalled that the term "stadium seating" comes from the Ancient Greek "circuses" (like Antioch) and evolved into theater seating (like in modern movie theaters and sports stadiums).

Correspondent Travis Vaughn made the observation that in 256, Antioch was suddenly raided by the Persians, who slew many in the theatre.

Outside Antioch, Greece, on October 22, 362, a mysterious fire destroyed the Temple of Apollo at Daphne.

There have been other modern incidents of violence at Antiochs. See here.

Mormons, Mason, and Brussels

It seems a strange coincidence that on the day - 3.22.16 - when the Mormon vote in Utah would be in the background, four Mormons (one French, three Americans) happened to be at the Brussels airport during the explosion on 3.22. Mormons are understood to be members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church).

(For more about the Belgian events, see here.)

One of the four, 19-year-old (Elder) Mason Wells, who was injured in the blast, has been spotlighted by the media. Why?

Richard Norby, Mason Wells, Joseph Empey, and Fanny Rachel Clain, left to right.

Four Mormon missionaries were injured by a blast at the airport, their church said, three seriously. One, Mason Wells, 19, was reportedly only one block away from the Boston bombing in 2013, and was in Paris during terror attacks there in November.
Two other missionaries, Richard Norby, 66 and Joseph Empey, 20 from Utah were seriously injured, officials from the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints said. A fourth, Fanny Clain, suffered minor injuries. Source.

The coincidences of Wells' location during three terrorist attacks is being noted frequently. Mason Wells was in Paris during the attacks of November 13, 2015, and watching the Boston Marathon (of April 15, 2013) because his mother was running in the race during that bombing. The Marathon bombing is tied to a Masonic location on a significant date.

I'm not talking here of such spooky tongue-twisters as H.P. Lovecraft's Yog-Sothoth or Arthur Machen's Ishakshar, but of quite ordinary names like Bell, Beall and variants, Crowley, Francis, Grafton, Grubb, Magee/McGee, Mason, McKinney, Montpelier, Parsons, Pike, Shelby, Vernon, Watson/Watt, Williams/Williamson. ~ Jim Brandon, The Rebirth of Pan: Hidden Faces of the American Earth Spirit, 1983.
The influence of such names as Mason, Pike, Warren, and Lafayette, for example, issues, in some cryptopolitical and occult way, from their ties to the Masonic tradition. ~ Loren Coleman, Mysterious America, 1983, new edition 2007.

As the airport location of the bombings in Brussels becomes more known, it appears that that attack was set to target three USA airlines and the associated Americans.

Two blasts detonated near the American Airlines, United, and Delta check-in desks at Brussels Airport at 8 am (7 am GMT) during the first suicide bombing on March 22, 2016. And Starbucks?
The Starbucks logo is a 16th century Norse woodcut of a twin-tailed mermaid, or Siren.

The names and nationalities of those who have died in the Brussels attack are not completely known, yet. See here for more on those people.

Another Mason in the news on 3.22.

Rebekah Mason

Governor Robert Bentley and Rebekah Mason

On March 22, 2016, the Governor of Alabama was in full spin mode over his alleged affair with Rebekah Mason.

Spencer Collier
The former Secretary of Alabama Law Enforcement said [on 3.22.16] that Gov. Robert Bentley owes the people of Alabama an explanation.
Spencer Collier, who was fired Tuesday, has come forward with claims that he knew of the governor's improper personal relationship with political adviser Rebekah Mason, and that Bentley refused to end the relationship even though it cost him his marriage to Diane Bentley. Source.

Brussels Attack Predicted?

On this Twilight Language blog on March 10, 2016, I wrote "there is a rumor making the rounds," that something big, something conspiratorial was targeted to occur on "the 22nd March 2016." This was being transmitted "in a global predictive fashion."

On 3.10.2016, I asked, "Will anything special happen on 3.22.2016?"

In America, we write this as 3.22. In Europe, it is 22.3.

A series of consequential events did take place today.

There has been major terrorist bombings in Brussels, Belgium.  The number of the dead is reported to be 34 at 9 AM EDT, and over 170 injured.

At Top: (1) The prime suspect in the airport bombing. (2) People run away from an explosion heard inside Zaventem airport in Brussels, Belgium.
Zaventem: The old spelling of the municipality's name is Saventhem, but the oldest notation of Zaventem is Saventa, which dates from records of 1117. There are several hypotheses on the meaning of the name. One of them refers to the seven pools or small ponds that existed in the area during medieval times. Another one refers to small ponds in a sandy environment (sabulous clay). Others interpret the name Zaventem as a reconfiguration of zeven tommen [meaning seven (Gallo-Roman) tumuli or burial mounds] or zaaivelden (meaning field for sowing).

Beginning at 8:00 AM (local Brussels time; 3:00 AM EDT-USA), the first explosion occurred at the airport. What followed was multiple explosions at the airport and Brussels' Maelbeek Metro Station. The Metro, according to local observers, is "literally" underneath the offices of the European Commission and the Council of European Union.
The name Maalbeek, (meaning mill stream), comes from the Dutch words beek (meaning stream) and maal (meaning to mill). Molenbeek has the same derivation. In French usually the old spelling Maelbeek is used.

The airport suspects. Note the single black gloves on the two to the left.

Skull and Bonesman John Kerry made a statement on the attack. Or as one conservative site noted, "John Kerry Condemns Brussels Attacks, Never Mentions Islam."

The first attack occurred at 8 AM Brussels time. That would have been 3 AM Eastern Daylight Time USA.

I woke up in the middle of the night, and, as you can see from the time stamp, sent out the following tweet at 2:42 AM EDT.

2016 Presidential Yankees or Cowboys?

What would Carl Oglesby say about all the candidates as they stumble towards the Presidential Election of 2016?

Carl Oglesby's most famous book, a favorite of mine, reveals a twilight language view of the world and should be read by all students of political history. It is The Yankee and Cowboy War: Conspiracies from Dallas to Watergate and Beyond (1976).

I've discovered this book, which is extremely difficult to find in a print edition (they go for over $300 via used book vendors), is available as a free download, here. You have no excuse not to read it.

I asked Carl's son, Caleb Oglesby, about publicly posting this link, as I respect author's copyrights. This is what Caleb wrote to me on August 10, 2015: "I think he would be happy to see it out there in the world. I know someone approached my sister about putting this book online, and we as a family gave our blessings."

Carl Oglesby, 1989.

Of course, I miss what Carl Oglesby (July 30, 1935 – September 13, 2011) would have had to say about the specific alignments of the candidates for president. "What would Carl say?" does come to mind.

It's a circus out there, but someone in this candidate pool, no doubt, is going to continue the Yankee or Cowboy traditions.

Rick Perry's Texas Cowboy roots are secure, but candidates Bush and Cruz have undermined Perry's Texas money base by courting Perry's former Cowboy funders.

Yankee Donald Trump, of course, would like to take on the mantle of the Midnight Cowboy.

Some people, like Rick Santorum, don't wear the Cowboy hat too well.

Who above are the "Yankees" and who are the "Cowboys"?

What is Hillary?

Update

I posted the above on August 10, 2015. The following is an update added on March 19, 2016.

The political calendar has advanced, and in the tradition of Carl Ogelsby, it is becoming more obvious what is what in the current Yankees vs Cowboys War.

A Virginia conservative newsletter, BearingDrift, has come forth with an item, "The Return of the Rockefeller Republicans."

Clearly, that piece's author senses that the "Yankees" in the race are Donald Trump, Chris Christie, and apparently John Kasich.

It will be recalled that Christie was the designated person to take out Marco Rubio (a Cowboy? NeoCon).

If there is a contested convention in Cleveland, will an alliance be along Yankee and Cowboy lines?

Some dispute that Kasich is a Yankee, and, instead, wish to wrap him in the mantle of the Cowboy. But how comfortable is he with sunbelt conservatives vs East Coast moderates?

The Texas candidate who no-one-use-to-like, Ted Cruz, is an isolated Cowboy, apparently. However, he certainly seems to wish to send out occult hand signals.

The Internet has fun with Ted Cruz (above), but in reality, he transmits his own twilight language, publicly.

As far as Bernie Sanders and Hillary Rodham Clinton, there appears to be little evidence they are not Yankees.
